Bijan is due for a big game. He has really been a letdown this season overall, but a game against a terrible Panthers defense that can’t seem to tackle anyone could be what the doctor ordered. The Panthers rank 27th in the NFL against the run, allowing 144.6 rushing yards per game, and they rank last in the NFL in points allowed, allowing 33 per game. The Panthers have allowed 6 TDs to RBs over the past two games.
The Packers should be playing from ahead in this game which means we should be seeing plenty of Josh Jacobs rushing attempts, especially in the second half. The Cardinals rank 28th in the NFL against the run this season, allowing 147.8 yards per game on the ground, and Jacobs is a three-down back who doesn’t have a great backup. I like for Jacobs to find the endzone this week as well, as you’ll see below in the long-shot parlay.
Flowers was used early and often in the week five win over the Bengals. He has had three games this season where he has seen double-digit targets, and in the other two games, he combined for only 6 targets. The matchup this weekend against the Commanders suggests that the game will be high-scoring, and the Commanders are a bend, don’t break defense that allows plenty of receptions to WR. Flowers has caught at least 6 passes in each of the games that he saw double-digit targets, so I expect him to excel this weekend.
In good matchups this season, Williams has had some monster days throwing the football. Against bad pass defenses in the Colts and Panthers, he threw for 363 yards and 304 yards, respectively. This weekend, although the game is in London, and those games can be hard to predict, I simply cannot ignore this matchup. He and the Bears will face a Jags defense that ranks last in the NFL against the pass, allowing 287.8 passing yards per game.
