Here are my Picks for this Week’s Parlay:
Chuba Hubbard is in the top 5 of the league in rushing yards, and this week’s matchup with the Commanders will bring on more of the same. The Commanders have given up 5 yards a carry so far this year. According to Pro Football Focus, the Commanders rank in the bottom half of the league in both tackling and rush defense rates. The Panthers have shown a dedication to a balanced attack, so I believe Hubbard will get his fair share of carries in this potential shootout against a struggling defense. I like for Hubbard to go over his rushing total of 70.5.
Drake Maye was pretty solid against a good defense in his first start but the Jaguars defense he faces this week has struggled so far this year. According to Pro Football Focus, this Jaguars defense is sporting a 70% completion percentage while ranking in the bottom 8 of the league in both pressure and coverage ratings. Sometimes, all a quarterback needs is a garbage-time offense to get going, as Maye did last week, and I think he will be able to have success moving the ball. I like Drake Maye to go over his completion total of 18.5.
Mostert showed that he can maintain what he is capable of last week and this week’s matchup with the Colts will be in his favor. The Dolphins have a two-headed monster in the backfield, but I believe Mostert will get plenty of carries against a defense that has given up the second-most rushing yards in the NFL. On top of that, Mostert has an extremely low total of 34.5 rushing yards, and I believe he will easily top this number.
