Here are my picks for this Week’s Parlay:
Najee has shown signs of life as an elite back, and with a more balanced attack from the Steelers, he is in a position to succeed. This Commanders’ defense they are matched up with this week has struggled with the run, allowing 5 yards per carry and 148 rushing yards a game over the last 5 games. This Commanders’ team has been solid against the pass as of late, and I like for the Steelers to establish Najee in the running game, whether early or late. I like for him to go over his rushing total of 64.5.
Darnold is in a great system that puts him in a position to succeed, and this week’s matchup against the Jaguars will bring more of the same. This Jaguars defense has a 73.5% completion percentage over the last five games, and with all the weapons that the Vikings possess, they will be able to stay on the field. Darnold will be able to coordinate this offensive attack successfully, and I like him going over his completion total of 20.5.
Baker simply has no one he can go to for big plays, and he is matched up with a 49ers defense that has been very effective against the pass. The 49ers have a 60.9% completion percentage and 214 passing yards allowed a game over the last five games. I do believe Baker will be able to complete more passes than the average quarterback, but the yardage will be hard to come by. I like for him to stay under his passing yardage, a total of 246.5.
