A couple of weeks ago, I completed my Scott Fish Bowl draft. The scoring settings are very unique, including things like rushing 1st downs from QBs, TE premium, return yards, and a number of other peculiar things. It is a Super Flex league as well, so QBs typically fly off the board, and you want to have two good ones and at least a third in case of injury and for bye weeks.
Elite QB who will be one of the highest-scoring players in this format.
He should lead his team in receptions and be among the top TEs in the NFL in receptions. In TE premium and this overall format, he can be a top 15-20 player.
I think Henry could lead all RBs/WRs/TEs in TDs this season with him being in the Ravens high-powered offense. I always like to get an RB1 that I can rely on.
Evans was excellent last season with Baker Mayfield and should be again. He is also one of the most consistent WRs in the past decade.
Pittman is a second-round player in one QB format, so it makes sense that he fell, but I was surprised to see him fall this far. If Richardson can stay healthy, it will also boost Pittman.
With this being a Super Flex league, it was important for me to get a good second QB, and I think that Goff, in this Lions offense, has a top-10 upside.
The Cardinals offense is going to be very good this season. With a healthy Murray, the new addition of Marvin Harrision Jr., and the emergence of Trey McBride, the Cards will score a lot of points, and Conner should have plenty of TDs.
He is always solid, but now that he has a QB, he could take his game to the next level. McLaurin could finish the season as a top 20-25 WR, and I have him as my WR3.
He is now the number one target in Tenessee. Although their offense is looked down on, they made a number of moves, including the Ridley signing, which should lead to a much better showing in 2024.
Speaking of the Titans offense and their moves, they signed Pollard, and they plan on using him. Although he shares the backfield with Spears, who is a popular pick this season, Pollard is the guy making big money for a RB. He will see plenty of touches. I would be worried if he was my RB2, but he’s my RB3.
This is technically my first bench player because we start 11 players in this league, including a kicker. McConkey is a talented rookie WR who could easily become the number-one target for Justin Herbert in the Charger’s offense.
Benson is an exciting rookie RB in a talented Cardinals offense. Furthermore, he is insurance for Conner should an injury or trade happen.
In Super Flex leagues, you always want to have a third QB incase of injuries, and certainly for when one of your QBs goes on a bye. By drafting these two guys back to back, I have all but assured myself of having the Raiders starter.
He will probably get 8-10 touches per game even when Jacobs is healthy because Packers head coach Matt LaFleur likes to do that. Of course, if something happens to Jacobs, I will then have an RB1 in an elite Packers offense.
This is the first year in Jeudy’s career where you can get him so late that there is simply no risk. If he continues to disappoint, he will ride my bench or be cut for a better player. If he does reach his potential with this change of scenery, I have myself a steal.
Tucker is the Raiders 3rd WR, but he should also see some time on special teams. Return yards are part of the scoring system, so Tucker could be very valuable to me. I also like having a Raiders WR because I have their QBs.
He has yet to live up to expectations, but a new team and offense could make him a solid TE in Fantasy. If Joe Burrow is healthy, Gesicki will get fed and could score plenty of touchdowns.
After already drafting Conner and Benson, I thought it would be smart to get the entire Cardinals backfield. Also, Dallas should see time on special teams, returning kicks or punts, which adds to his value in this format.
With this league being TE premium and having deep benches, I took a shot on Bellinger, who will be the Giants starting TE for at least the first few weeks of the season. He may not pan out to be anything, but he is still young with room for improvement.
This is Calvin Ridley insurance and WR depth. Boyd is still a solid player; we just don’t know what his role and target share will look like yet. IF Ridley were to get hurt, though, Boyd would get a huge bump in value.
He is a solid kicker on a team that moves the ball up and down the field because of their QB. Having Josh Allen also led me to make this pick because if the Bills stall out on a drive, I will still get points when Bass kicks a FG.
