What a wild season we have had so far, and with only three weeks left in most fantasy fitness leagues, it’s time to finish strong. The players I have lined up for you this week have recently come back from an injury or have been filling in for an injured player. That means their snap counts are what we want when we’re looking for players to either fill a void or help with this bye week. Also, if you like to stream defensive players, look no further than my IDP Heats of the Week which will be out later this week. That way, you can bring the pain to your opponents once again. Have a great day, everyone, and may the tackles be with you.
LB Trevin Wallace, Carolina Panthers
Since Shaq Thompson Jr. went down, Trevin Wallace has filled in perfectly. Recording 31 total tackles and a forced fumble since Thompson’s injury, Wallace is ready to help your team the rest of the season. Fresh off a bye, Wallace and the Panthers are facing the Chiefs, who will be pumped up after their loss to the Bills. That means Wallace should be in the field a ton, and since he’s playing 100 percent of the snaps, this is a no-brainer.
My Prediction: 7 total tackles
LB Jordan Hicks, Cleveland Browns
With the Steelers coming to town this week, the Browns are looking for an early Christmas present. However, with the way the Browns have been playing, their defense will most likely be on the field for most of the game. That’s where the injury that plagued Jordan Hicks this season comes into play. Hicks is currently rostered in almost 10 percent of leagues right now and should get back to his usual form by averaging six tackles a game.
My Prediction: 6 total tackles
LB Malcolm Rodriguez, Detroit Lions
Malcolm Rodriguez is hardly known and barely rostered in most leagues. Currently, he is available in over 99 percent of fantasy football leagues and just came off a game where he played 90 percent of the snaps. If Rodriguez continues to play at this level, you’ll have a player who will be able to help you dominate the rest of the year.
My Prediction: 7 total tackles, 1 stuff
