Sonic’s MME Player Pool 12.25

The Week of Connected Ceilings

This slate rewards anyone willing to link their plays together, leaning into correlation, ceiling, and salary efficiency to build lineups that hit in harmony instead of hoping for isolated miracles.

Some of these are not for the faint of heart. These are players I’ll be mixing into my rosters to differentiate from the masses while adding correlation. Keep this stuff out of your cash games for god’s sake.

Secondary Core-Relations

We’re always hunting for those high-ceiling combinations to add to our existing game stacks. It’s better to aim at getting a few things right instead of trying to hit a nine-way parlay. I’ll lean on a handful of core secondary stacks that will be finessed into lineups whenever feasible.

DK Metcalf (8.0%), D’Andre Swift (9.5%)

Swift is essentially a bet on the Bears playing from behind, which makes using a Steelers piece across from it the logical move. And if Aaron Rodgers misses, we can at least hope Mason Rudolph has more of an affinity for pushing the ball downfield to Metcalf.

Justin Jefferson (2.0%), Christian Watson (4.3%)

The J.J. McCarthy situation really is a bummer for everyone involved. This had all the makings of a road script against a good team where JJ could form a cosmic bond with JJ, and we’d all be stuck with an annoying new nickname like “JJ Squared.” Watson is still priced really well for his ability to score from anywhere.
