Many fantasy prognosticators who like Mr. Moss. I am on the other side. Watching the film on Zack, I see he needs to gain the explosive run upside that the Bengals will deem necessary for their team in the long run. I can see the Bengals in many three-wide receiver sets that will fit Chase Brown’s skill set. Chase is a more explosive runner, and I will take the three-round discount you get for Brown over Moss.
He had a great year last year, but it was a breakout year. When you pull the curtains back, I do have some concerns. First, when Deshaun Watson was QB in five complete games, David averaged 35 yards a game, five targets, and 1 TD. In six games with Joe Flacco, David averaged 80 yards, nine targets, and scored four TDs. Njoku had 60% more yards per game and over a 40 percent increase in targets with Flacco over Watson. This does not consider Jerry Juedy’s addition to Brown’s offense; his routes in the slot can take away some production from David.
Looking at the film at Wilson has me concerned. Age and his impressive wife have removed some juice from Russel’s game. Don’t get me wrong, Ciara, it is worth having some of your juice sapped away. Playing in the AFC North is hard enough; having the threat of Justin Fields think the juice is not worth the squeeze. Russell has already suffered injuries this preseason, so I am out on Russell.
