Doc’s Visionary Plays – Fantasy Football Week 13

QB:

Josh Allen, Bills

Each week, the NFL puts its main game on the 4:00 p.m. slate, and this week that game is Buffalo vs Pittsburgh. Are you telling me that Josh Allen is not going to be playing at his best when most people are watching? Nobody’s going to want to play Allen after how poorly the Bills offensive line looked last week against Houston, thinking that Pittsburgh’s defensive line will do the same. I have no worries about that. I know that Josh Allen is going to throw for 260 yards and three touchdowns and probably run in one too.

Justin Herbert, Chargers

The last time we saw the Chargers, they were playing an underwhelming game against Jacksonville. Now, after the Bye week, they should come back healthier and hopefully with Omarion Hampton at RB. Look for Herbert to slice and dice the Raiders secondary to the tune of 250 yards and three touchdowns, including a long bomb to Quentin Johnston.

Sam Darnold, Seahawks

Minnesota is reeling, especially at the quarterback position, which, interestingly enough, was manned by Darnold last season. I won’t call this a revenge narrative game, but I will call it a “look at me now” narrative game. I know that Sam wants Minnesota to see how well he’s playing, and I think he’s going to play exceptional football on Sunday, throwing for about 250 yards and at least two passing touchdowns.

Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins

Miami has shown some offensive life recently, and I think that spark continues against New Orleans at home. There’s probably very little chance that Miami makes the playoffs, but they might be playing for Mike McDaniel’s job at this point. Look for them to excel in all facets, including Tua, who throws for 240 yards and two touchdowns.

Honorable Mention: Cam Ward, C.J. Stroud

RB:

Bijan Robinson, Falcons

The Jets have been stingy on defense, but I don’t think it’s going to be possible for them to hold Robinson back this week. He’s such a threat both out of the backfield catching the ball and, of course, as a runner. Look for him to get 120 all-purpose yards and a touchdown.

De’Von Achane, Dolphins

Each week, there’s one player who can “break the slate,” and this week’s player is Achane. I just have a feeling that Miami is going to run all over New Orleans. So look for Achane to have another huge week with 120 yards with at least one and possibly two touchdowns.

Breece Hall, Jets

Last week’s game was probably the best that Hall has looked in quite some time. Maybe some of that can be attributed to Tyrod Taylor being under center, or maybe Aaron Glenn’s magic is finally settling in. Regardless of what it looks like I think Hall has another solid week with 90 yards rushing as well as a touchdown.

Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks

This is one of those plays that nobody likes to make, especially because Zach Charbonnet looks so good in the red zone. But with each passing week, Walker has played better and better, and Las Vegas is telling everybody that Seattle’s going to score four touchdowns, and I think that Walker’s going to get one of those. Lock Walker in Visionary Style!

Honorable Mention: Jaylen Warren, Rico Dowdle

WR:

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seahawks

JSN has to be a finalist for MVP this season. What he’s done with such limited production has been outstanding. His good play will continue this week against a Vikings secondary that is susceptible to play-action passing, which is exactly what Sam Darnold loves to do. Look for JSN to have 140 yards with eight receptions and a touchdown.

Jaylen Waddle, Dolphins

I’m convinced that there’s going to be a Miami onslaught and that starts with Achane and continues with Waddle, who is by far their best receiver. Look for him to get about 80 yards and a touchdown as Miami cruises to an easy victory in this one.

Emeka Egbuka, Bucs

I know that Chris Godwin is back as well as Bucky Irving, but that doesn’t matter much as Arizona plays a ton of cover 4 zone coverage, which feeds right into what Egbuka loves to face. Look for Baker Mayfield to find him for 75 yards and a TD.

Nico Collins, Texans

This game is slightly underrated offensively, but Las Vegas has it as the second-highest scoring game of the week. CJ Stroud should return at quarterback, which I think will help the passing game some. Although many people will think that Nico Collins will have a very tough match-up against Sauce Gardner, I think Collins is bigger, stronger, and faster, and just more physical. Look for Stroud to lean on Collins, who will have 80 yards and a touchdown.

Honorable Mention: John Metchie III, Khalil Shakir

Tight End:

Trey McBride, Cardinals

The way to beat Tampa is by throwing the football, and that’s what Jacoby Brissett is going to need to do. McBride has been virtually unstoppable all season long, and that will continue against the suspect Tampa secondary. McBride will finish with 85 yards on eight receptions with a good chance of a touchdown.

Brock Bowers, Raiders

Las Vegas is in all sorts of trouble, as it just has no offensive identity. Co-owner Tom Brady is very upset, and the Raiders have to find something that they can hang their hat on, and that should be the play of Bowers. The Chargers have no linebacker who can cover him, so look for Bowers to have seven catches for 70 yards and a touchdown.

Oronde Gadsden II, Chargers

When Justin Herbert is playing at his best, he’s taking a few chances downfield, and he’s also using the middle of the field to his advantage. Gadsden has been a revelation this season as he’s always open, and he’s got the speed of a wide receiver even though he plays with the body of a tight end. Look for him to continue his good play with six catches for 60 yards and a touchdown.

Dalton Schultz, Texans

Indianapolis has been very soft against opposing tight ends all season long, and Stroud just loves throwing to Schultz. Schultz has been one of the more underrated players this season in fantasy, and I think his solid play will continue as he catches five passes for 50 yards and a touchdown.

Honorable Mention: Juwan Johnson, A.J. Barner
