Fantasy Football Week 12 – Buy/Sell/Hold

Each week, I’ll break down the players I think you should buy low, sell high, or hold onto as the fantasy season unfolds. Whether you’re chasing a playoff spot or trying to keep your roster steady, these moves can give you the edge you need to stay ahead of the competition.

Buy – Quinshon Judkins

If you’ve been searching for a late-season spark at running back, Quinshon Judkins might be the most under-the-radar buy-low opportunity heading into Week 12. His raw box scores haven’t fully popped recently, but the underlying usage, talent, and trending role all point in one direction.

Based on the upcoming schedule, the window to buy him might close fast. He’s heading into a stretch of matchups that favor his downhill running style and could set him up for his best fantasy stretch of the year, especially with his workhorse usage. With defenses focusing on slowing the passing game with Sanders under center, Judkins should see lighter boxes and plenty of chances to carve out more steady production.

Buy – Alvin Kamara

Kamara’s recent production may look modest on the surface, but the usage remains elite, and that’s what matters most as fantasy playoffs approach. He continues to dominate the Saints’ backfield touches, handling the kind of workload that most fantasy managers spend the season chasing. His snap share, target volume, and red-zone involvement all point to a player who’s still a big part of this offense.

Sell – Brock Bowers

The biggest concern is consistency. Bowers’ weekly usage has been unpredictable, and his target share has fluctuated this year more than fantasy managers would like. The offense around him is still finding its rhythm with bad QB play, and that has translated into stretches where he simply isn’t getting the high-volume tight end usage you need in crunch time. When the floor is this volatile, it becomes harder to trust him in must-win matchups. My last reason to sell Bowers, if you need to, is that his schedule in the fantasy playoffs is messy. I get he’s an elite tight end, but if you can deal him for a Tyler Warren and Kyren Williams combo, do it.

Sell – Davante Adams

Adams hasn’t looked his age this season, as he continues to dominate the slot. My issue with Adams is that his numbers are inflated due to his 10 touchdowns. Personally, I would sell high on Adams going into week 12. He hasn’t surpassed 80 yards since week 5, and his average depth on touchdowns is under 5 yards. If you can flip Adams for an RB 1 or a superstar at a needed position, do it.

Hold – Hunter Henry

Henry has been very quiet the past month, but let’s not forget he’s a top priority for Drake Maye. The issue has been that the Patriots haven’t been in many shootouts recently and have been running the ball more. The good news is that they enter Sunday against the Bengals, who rank 31st against tight ends, in a game that should be a shootout with Joe Burrow returning. We all know tight ends are a waste land for the most part, but Henry is the safety blanket for Maye and is capable of scoring double-digit fantasy points.

Hold – Luther Burden lll

I mentioned Burden in my Sell Rome Odunze article last week. His breakout is coming as his snap share has been increasing over the last 3 weeks. Burden is the St. Brown of this Bears offense, and head coach Ben Johnson came out this week saying Luther has earned more opportunities. His big game is coming soon, and he’s available in 93% of ESPN waiver wires. Food for thought: you always want to be a week early on a player than a week late. Do yourself a favor and stash him on your bench.
