First off, I want to cover things we should never be doing, assertions that are backed up by the data. We should never, and I mean never, pay up twice or pay down twice at the tight end position on rosters in play. Wide receivers simply offer much more upside in the higher tier of pricing than comparable tight ends do, and the goal with cheap tight ends is to find a touchdown and move on. Never, ever, pay up or pay down twice at tight end, even if there’s a fire.
