Contest selection is an incredibly critical part of success in DFS that gets far, far too little attention in my opinion. Of course, we all know the basic types of contests:
Cash games, where (roughly) half of the field makes (roughly) double their money if they win.
Large-field tournaments, like the DK Milly Maker series, where you’re competing against 10k+ or 100k+ other users for a giant prize. Generally extremely top-heavy and requires a very specific type of play if you want to find success.
Small-field tournaments that don’t offer the giant payouts of the . . .
