Tournaments in NBA are similar to any other sport except the chalk is chalkier. The chalk is also more likely to hit because of the more predictable nature of NBA scoring. I can’t remember a time when I saw a large NBA tournament won without at least one chalk (say, 20%+ ownership) player in the lineup. I’m sure it’s happened, of course, but it’s rare.
That said — I actually love NBA tournaments because of HOW chalky they are. It’s not uncommon to see the “best” plays be 40-50% owned or more — especially really . . .
