Generally speaking, there are a few things that I am looking for in defenses, and it is a pretty simple process.
Playing against a mistake-prone QB and/or poor offenseIdeally the opponent will have to throw a lot — this could be in a back-and-forth game or because they are behind by a lot earlyHigh pressure rates — most fantasy points come from sacks, INTs, and fumbles. Those things are caused by putting pressure on the QBWeather — particularly wind and heavy rain (I actually think snow hurts the defense more than the offense)
