Michael Leone (@2Hats1Mike) of Establish the Run recently released his Best Ball Mania Manifesto, wherein he mathematically and analytically explores numerous theorem including overall contest EV, the EV of a “perfectly correlated and optimized roster,” and the EV of an entry drafted “at random” (an uncorrelated roster that expands an edge through closing line value (CLV) versus ADP) for BBMIII. One of the most glaring conclusions he makes is that the EV of a perfectly correlated and optimized roster, which he defines as a roster that drafts two to three quarterbacks that are stacked with one to three pass-catchers . . .
