Draft Guide: TE Tiers and Evals

By :: Mike Johnson (X: @mjohnson_86 — Discord: @MJohnson86)
Tier 1 TEs – “The Studs”

These tight ends are all supremely talented and have the potential to provide a positional advantage from both a weekly and season-long perspective based on their skill sets, roles, and offenses.

  • Brock Bowers, LV
    • Bowers set records as a rookie and was especially dominant as the season went on. He is clearly the alpha in this passing attack and should have improved QB play this season.
  • Trey McBride, ARI
    • McBride has shown he is a top-end talent at the TE position the last two seasons. He is a target hog who is due for touchdown regression and a strong bet for 100 receptions if he stays healthy.
  • George Kittle, SF
    • Kittle is a step below Bowers and McBride, but very clearly above the next group of tight ends. He has shown the ability to single-handedly win weeks, and the 49ers wide receivers have a lot of questions entering 2025.
