Here are my picks for this Week’s Parlay:
Irving has shown what he can do so far this year and has a favorable matchup this week facing the Giants. According to Pro Football Focus, the Giants rank in the bottom third in the league in both rush defense rating and tackling rating. Over the last 5 games, they have allowed 5.4 yards per carry while allowing 178 yards per game. I like for Bucky Irving to go over his rushing yard total of 56.5.
Downs has been beyond dominant for Indianapolis, catching balls out of the slot, and this week looks to be more of the same. According to Pro Football Focus, Downs has an “excellent” matchup advantage in the slot, where he will line up most against corner Amik Robertson. Downs has gone over his receiving total in each of the last 4 games, and with a lower total due to Richardson playing QB, I see a lot of value in the number given. Richardson has shown that he has made improvements, so I like for Josh Downs to go over his Receiving total of 55.5.
The Bears have struggled heavily to stop the run. Over the past five games, they have given up 4.8 yards per carry while giving up 139 yards per game. With this elite Bears secondary, I anticipate the Vikings taking advantage of their ability to run the ball. I like for Aaron Jones to go over his rushing total of 61.5.
Let’s get a W!
