IDP Waiver Wire: Week Seven

Week 7 is here, and with more injuries like what happened with Aiden Hutchison, we all will need direction for the waiver wire tonight. That means you have come to the right place when trying to help fill these holes in your defense. It’s wild that we’re seven weeks into the season, and we’re still fixing our fantasy football teams. Regardless, the players I have for you this week are ready to start now, whether you need a player now or later. That’s why if you love to stream defensive players, then look no further than my IDP Heats of the Week, which will be out later this week. For now, let’s dive into the waiver wire so we can find some gems that may be able to fill that spot for you right now. That way, you can bring the pain to your opponents once again. Have a great day, everyone, and may the tackles be with you.

LB Nakobe Dean, Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles defense finally showed up, and Nakobe Dean played a big part in that. Playing 96 percent of the snaps, Dean recorded 12 tackles. At just over six percent rostered, Dean is available to help your team’s defense get to the next level. Snag him now, and get ready to watch Dean deliver for your fantasy teams for the rest of the season.

My Prediction: 8 total tackles

S Brandon Jones, Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos have been solid defensively all year until this week. After settling down against the Chargers, Brandon Jones turned in 12 total tackles and one pass defended. Jones is currently in place for one of his best seasons ever, and he’s only owned in 16 percent of the leagues. Hardly anyone will be looking for him, which will make him easy to pick up from the waiver wire.

My Prediction: 5 total tackles, 1 pass defended

LB Nate Landman, Atlanta Falcons

After missing four weeks with a calf injury, Nate Landman is back. After recording eight tackles, Landman is ready to dominate the gridiron. With juicy matchups in the future, you can get him for a steal right now since he’s only one percent owned. That means you could even wait till after the waiver wire hits to scoop him up because most people won’t even scroll that far down on the defensive wire.

My Prediction: 7 total tackles
