Week 15 in the NFL is here, and that means it’s the playoffs. Everybody who thought the week 14 Bye-Mageddon would be deadly was right. The top player in the Scott Fish Bowl, David, met his demise after being dominant all year long. That shows you that no matter what, no team is ever safe, and I applaud him for a great year. As for the waiver wire, I’ll continue the same formula I did last week by finding players who can perform for your teams now. That means the players I put in this article may not be as deep of a dive, but that’s because you need to win. Also, if you’re still streaming defensive players, look no further than my IDP Heats of the Week, which will be out later this week. That way, you can bring the pain to your opponents on your way to the championship. Have a great day, everyone, and may the tackles be with you.
LB Akeem Davis-Gaither, Cincinnati Bengals
Akeem Davis-Gaither has recently had an uptick in snaps since Logan Wilson has been placed on the injured reserve list. That means we have a few more weeks with Davis-Gaither getting a full workload on defense. At almost 14 percent owned, Davis-Gaither should be available in your leagues and has a great matchup against the Titans this week. Pick him up now for an undercover linebacker that could win you a championship, especially with his next three games.
My Prediction: 7 total tackles, 1 stuff
S Damar Hamlin, Buffalo Bills
The Rams ransacked the Bills and surprised the sports world after winning on Sunday. That worked out great for Damar Hamlin who was chasing Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua, and Kyren Williams all day. With the Bills now headed to Detroit to face the Lions, you can bet that Hamlin will once again have his hands full, giving you a great player who is available in 90 percent of fantasy leagues.
My Prediction: 6 total tackles, 1 stuff, 1 pass defended
LB Micah McFadden, New York Giants
Micah McFadden is rostered higher than I usually suggest for this article, but at 26 percent, you still have a chance to grab him. The Giants are a wreck, and with the Ravens coming to New York, you can bet McFadden will be on the field most of the day. That gives him a chance at a double-digit performance this week, giving you an edge in all of your opponents.
My Prediction: 7 total tackles, 1 stuff
