Now that week 3 in the NFL is done, a lot of people will be hitting the waiver wire to fix their teams after another week of injuries. The most notable injury was Nick Bosa, who will be out for the season after sustaining an ACL injury. That being said, we’re here to right these wrongs that have been presented to us by the Fantasy Gods. However, the players this week are ready to step in and start or will be great to stash on your bench. Have a great day, everyone, and may the tackles be with you. In three games
LB Tyrel Dodson, Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins are going to have a bad year, which means players like Tyrel Dodson will be on the field a lot. At just over 21 percent owned, Dodson has quietly been on a tear. With 33 total tackles and one sack so far, Dodson should be on a roster, so make it yours.
LB Mack Wilson Sr., Arizona Cardinals
Mack Wilson Sr. will always be overlooked as a linebacker since most people draft household names. However, Wilson is another player you can stash now before you’re looking for a serviceable defensive player. With 28 total tackles and being owned in just under five percent, Wilson is the key to your team winning this year.
DE Mykel Williams, San Francisco 49ers
After Nick Bosa went down, it opened the door for one of the most exciting defensive players from the draft this year. Mykel Williams is currently nursing a wrist injury but should be a go this week against Jacksonville. Right now Williams is around one percent owned and with a clear path to a starting position, pick him up now before you regret it.
LB Nick Bolton, Kansas City Chiefs
Nick Bolton is a well-known linebacker who is overlooked due to people not believing in his consistent play. At 16 percent owned, Bolton is a perfect player to grab now, seeing the Chiefs have some really big matchups coming, including the Ravens this week. Bolton is also coming off 14 tackles against the Giants, which shows why he deserves to be rostered.
S Brandon Jones, Denver Broncos
Let’s switch our gears up and look at a defensive back who plays on a great defense and is coming off an amazing game. Brandon Jones had 11 total tackles and an Interception against the Chargers, which may have directed eyes his way. Regardless, Jones is only 15 percent owned and should be starting on your team if you have a defensive back position. With the Bengals coming to Denver this week, look for Jones to have a chance to duplicate that feat against a team that looks like their about to give up on their entire season.
