Fantasy Football Week 4 Streaming Options

Well, we are in Week 4, and the injuries are starting to pile up. Hopefully, you have a deep bench and don’t have to worry too much about finding streamers for this week. Maybe you have some underperforming players and need to strengthen your bench. I know some of these players won’t clear waivers, but since I’m writing this article Tuesday night, I want to cover them, and maybe some will slip through the cracks.

QB Geno Smith, Raiders

Geno probably won’t clear waivers, but if he does, he’s worth a good add for this week. He’s got a great matchup against the Bears, and I expect 250 yards passing along with two touchdown passes minimum.

RB Kimani Vidal, Chargers

The waiver wire for running backs is going to be very slim. I think Vidal is a good option here because he will get the role behind Omarion Hampton. Coach Jim Harbaugh said Vidal will be the next man up. He is an explosive back, and he’s a guy you want on your bench, and if something were to happen to Hampton, he’s going to be a plug-and-play guy.

WR Luther Burder III, Bears

Burden was on waivers, but he probably won’t clear this week. If he does, he’s more acclimated to the offense. I know it was against the Cowboys, but he was more active, scored, and built some confidence. Remember, he’s only played three NFL games, so his role will increase as the season goes on.

WR KaVontae Turpin, Cowboys

With Lamb out for the next three to four weeks, Turpin’s role should increase. He is explosive and can score from anywhere on the field, making him a deep threat.

WR Luke McCaffrey, Commanders

WR Terry McLaurin suffered a quad injury and is seeking a second opinion already, so I think he’ll be out this week. The Commanders don’t have a whole lot of receiving options, and McCaffrey might slide into that two-role.

Detroit Lions D/ST

If you’re in a smart league, the Lions will be claimed. If you’re not, they’ll be available, and you definitely want to roster them this week in a great matchup versus a bad Brown’s offense.
K Will Reichard, Vikings

Reichard is not on waivers in any of my leagues because I have him in them all. I have him on this report every week, so he shouldn’t be on waivers anymore. You should already have him, but for those who are new, he is a top kicker in the league with a big leg. I expect him to get more chances to kick because I think the Vikings’ goal-line offense might struggle with Wentz as the quarterback.

K Spencer Shrader, Colts

If you can’t get Reichard, Schrader is a good option. The Colts move the ball up and down the field, and he’ll have many opportunities to score.
