Fantasy Football FAAB: Week 17

It’s the fantasy playoffs, and we are playing a week-to-week game. Here are the players who might be worth using for this upcoming week.

QB:

Mason Rudolph, Titans

He looks so much better than Will Levis and plays Jacksonville in Week 17. FAAB: $5-10

Michael Penix, Jr., Falcons

He has a tough matchup against the commanders, but there’s a lot of upside there. FAAB: $15-20

Bryce Young, Panthers

Carolina plays Tampa, who struggles stopping quarterbacks. If there was ever a game that Young should have 240 yards passing this would be it. FAAB: $35-40

RB:

Kendre Miller, Saints

It’s doubtful that Alvin Kamara plays again this season so it’s likely that Miller is the RB1. FAAB: ALL IN

Trey Benson, Cardinals

James Conner hurt his knee seriously against Carolina. With the Cardinals out of playoff contention, I can’t imagine that they’re going to let him play again this season. Benson missed Week 16 with an injured ankle, but if he can go in Week 17, he will get most of the carries. FAAB: ALL IN, assuming he’s healthy.

Michael Carter, Cardinals

Carter will likely be the backup to whichever of Conner or Benson plays. FAAB: $10-15

Audric Estime, Broncos

Estime was the RB one against the Chargers and he should have a huge role this week against Cincinnati. FAAB: ALL IN

WR:

Cedric Tillman, Browns

He was close to returning in Week 16; he should be back in Week 17. FAAB: ALL IN if confirmed healthy

Jalen McMillan, Bucs

McMillan has been terrific since he returned from injury. FAAB: ALL IN

Diontae Johnson, Texans

Johnson was claimed off waivers by the Texans on Monday. There is a small chance he will play this week, but it’s more likely that he will play in Week 18 to get ready for the playoffs. FAAB: $5-10

Xavier Hutchinson, Texans

Tank Dell is out for the year, so expect Hutchinson to see the role of WR2 at least for Week 17 since he knows the plays better than Johnson. FAAB: $5-10

Jamison Crowder, Commanders

Washington desperately needs a second receiver to emerge with Noah brown out. Dyami Brown was also injured against Philadelphia, so it’s likely that Crowder is going to see even more targets in Week 17. FAAB: $10-15

TE:

Chig Okonkwo, Titans

He’s been Rudolph’s second-best receiver, and he excels against zone defense. FAAB: $5-10

Payne Durham, Bucs

I’m only listing Durham here in case Cate Otton is out one more week. Baker likes throwing to the tight end. FAAB: $3-5

Noah Gray, Chiefs

Gray is a solid pass catcher and runs good routes. If Kelce were to ever get hurt, he would easily be a difference maker. FAAB: $25-35

Defense:

Colts (vs. NYG)

Whether it’s Lock or DeVito, the Giants are an absolute mess right now. FAAB: $10-15

Jacksonville/Tennessee

These teams play each other and they both have been horrible offensively. Just pick the team that you think is going to win. FAAB: $5-10
