The Hardest Hits | IDP Waiver Wire: NFL Week 8

It’s Tuesday, and that means it’s another week to search the waiver wire to see what we’ll find. Both of my articles hit on another level with even a pick-six to go with it. That means this week we’ll be back to finding those gems that are ready to help us slay our competition. Buckle up, because we’re about to get deep this week. Have a great day, everyone, and may the tackles be with you.

LB Teddye Buchanan, Baltimore Ravens

Teddye Buchanan is a rookie that many people aren’t familiar with, especially coming off a bye. In the two weeks before the bye, Buchanan recorded 24 total tackles and half a sack with a 100 percent snap rate. Moving forward, I expect the Ravens to let Buchanan take more chances for the rest of the season.

LB Demarvion Overshown, Dallas Cowboys

Demarvion Overshown is back from the injury list and ready to help lead the Cowboys’ defense again. Last year, he was a key player with a seven percent overall contribution, and once he’s healthy, he’ll resume that role. Get him now before you miss out.

LB Terrel Bernard, Buffalo Bills

Here’s another linebacker returning from a bye week, and he’s currently owned in only 26 percent of leagues. Bernard’s only weakness is finishing games, but outside of that, he’s a strong player and should be on rosters. Bernard has recorded 30 total tackles this season, and as a key part of the Bills defense, pick him up now and thank us later.

DB Kenny Moore, Indianapolis Colts

I’ve said this throughout his entire career, and I’ll say it again: Kenny Moore has always been one of my favorite defensive backs, and it shows. In four games this season, Moore has scored double-digit points twice and is only four percent owned. Trust me, Moore is a player you’d want on your team.

DB Jaquan Brisker, Chicago Bears

Jaquan Brisker is another player I’ve highlighted for years, and he is currently playing 100 percent of snaps on defense. Brisker has also recorded 30 total tackles, one sack, and one interception this year, demonstrating that even when he’s not in a position for a tackle, he’s active in blitzing packages too. At 17 percent owned, Brisker is a great addition to any of your fantasy football teams.
