We’re back for another exciting week of NFL football as we get ready to dive into the waiver wire to find some gems. With Thanksgiving this Thursday, many seasonal team owners are starting to check out for the year. That means you’ll have less competition to compete with, and you could even find a dropped player that you could use on defense. That being said, let’s get to this week’s pick-ups of the week, so that you can slay your competition. Have a great day, everyone, and may the tackles be with you.
LB D’Marco Jackson, Chicago Bears
D’Marco Jackson started in his first NFL game last week since the linebacker core for the Bears has caught the injury bug. In that start, Jackson made 15 tackles and had the chance to do that again this week against the Eagles. At two percent owned, Jackson could be the perfect pickup if he is able to stay again.
LB Devin Bush, Cleveland Browns
I recommended Devin Bush a few weeks ago, but after his last two games, I felt like I needed to bring him back up. Bush is still around 14 percent owned and is still up to the same carnage on the field by tallying up 13 total tackles, one sack, and one interception. With the Browns defense still dominant, you can expect this to continue as you get ready for your fantasy football playoffs.
LB DeMarvion Overshown, Dallas Cowboys
So I’ve been talking about DeMarvion Overshown for the past few weeks, and now he’s starting to show why he’s the heart and soul of the Cowboys defense. After playing over 50 percent of the snaps in his first two games back, Overshown recorded five total tackles in his game against the Eagles. With the Chiefs coming to town next week, your fantasy teams will be thankful if you decide to add Overshown this week.
DB Jalen Ramsey, Pittsburgh Steelers
Everyone knows about Jalen Ramsey, but they never seem to buy into his skill set. Ramsey has always been an aggressive player, and with the secondary banged up in Pittsburgh, Ramsey has had plenty of opportunities for tackles. He recorded nine tackles against the Bears last week, and with the Bills coming to town, you can expect Ramsey to have another great game. At 14 percent owned, Ramsey is a player that you want to add now, before it’s too late.
DL Osa Odighizuwa, Dallas Cowboys
I’m going to feature another Cowboy in this article, and that’s defensive lineman Osa Odighizuwa. At three percent owned, Odighizuwa is coming off two double-digit performances, including his best game of the year against the Eagles. He averages over 60 percent of the snap count as well, so the fact that Odighizuwa can score that many points in such a small amount of snaps shows that he deserves to be rostered. Pick him up now and thank us later when he helps you win your leagues this year.
