Injuries are a part of football, and Week 7 is no different. This week, many of us are dealing with injuries to wide receivers, mainly to the Jets’ Garrett Wilson and Tampa‘s Emeka Egbuka. Replacing them is daunting, but I have several receivers who may have cleared waivers, plus players at other positions that you can stream.
QB Aaron Rodgers, Steelers
Rogers against the Bengals should be obvious. I just claimed him, and I’m going to start him over Jaguars Trevor Lawrence. He could throw for over 250 yards and two touchdowns, especially since I think the Bengals are going to put up a fight.
QB Michael Penix, Falcons
I am shocked at how widely available Penix is. He has been heating up with WR Drake London and TE Kyle Pitts. He can throw for 250 yards and two touchdowns against the 49ers’defense.
RB Bam Knight, Cardinals
It is a tough match-up against the Packers, but Knight has scored two weeks in a row. He is the goal linebacker and could fall in the end zone. Plus, he seems to have some juice and should take more carries away from Michael Carter.
WR Marvin Mims, Broncos
Mims is a deep threat, and he is overdue. The Giants will give up the long ball, and Mims is the deep guy for the Broncos. Think he can catch a few passes, with one being a long touchdown.
WR Kameron Johnson, Buccaneers
I am down both Ebuka and Wilson and will need to start Johnson this week. If Johnson is unavailable, WR Tez Robinson could be a guy to add. I expect them to get a lot of practice reps this week, and they face a porous Lions’ pass defense that is depleted.
D Carolina Panthers
Now that Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is doubtful, the Panthers can crowd the line of scrimmage. They have had a bad rap this season, but have made big improvements versus opposing run games. I think they can get Fields to turn the ball over several times and maybe return one for a touchdown.
K Will Reichard, Vikings
The Vikings are coming off a bye, which means Reichard could be readily available in your leagues. Chances are, he’s better than your kicker
