Tier 1 TEs – “The Studs”
These tight ends are all supremely talented and have the potential to provide a positional advantage from both a weekly and season-long perspective based on their skill sets, roles, and offenses.
Brock Bowers, LV
Bowers set records as a rookie and was especially dominant as the season went on. He is clearly the alpha in this passing attack and should have improved QB play this season.
Trey McBride, ARI
McBride has shown he is a top-end talent at the TE position the last two seasons. He is a target hog who is due for touchdown regression and a strong bet for 100 receptions if he stays healthy.
George Kittle, SF
Kittle is a step below Bowers and McBride, but very clearly above the next group of tight ends. He has shown the ability to single-handedly win weeks, and the 49ers wide receivers have a lot of questions entering 2025.
