Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs–Does it matter that the Colts have let up the 8th most passing yards this season? Not really because Sauce Gardner wasn’t there for most of it. The bottom line is this: Kansas City needs to win out or be in danger of missing the playoffs. So…are you betting on Mahomes? I am to the tune of 265 yards and 2 TDs.
Jalen Hurts, Eagles–I need to give Jerry Jones a little credit: the addition of Kenny Clark and Quinnen Williams has made the Dallas run defense appreciably better. With that in mind, expect to see Hurts air it out, which is something Eagles fans have been hoping to see all season. Look for Hurts to throw for 230 yards and 2 TDs and get at least 1 tush push for a score. He could end up being the Week 12 version of Week 11 Josh Allen.
Jared Goff, Lions–Every once in a blue moon, things are relatively easy in fantasy football. It’s like a Hailey’s Comet–it only comes around once in 75-76 years. Detroit lost on the road last week in a tough game and now goes back home to play the Giants, who play man coverage and can’t stop anyone on defense. Give me Jared Goff for 285 yards and 3 TDs, please!
Jaxson Dart, Giants–If Dart ends up being ruled out, I am happy to switch this play to Jameis Winston. I often like to take a look at the QB of the team that is expected to lose a very high-scoring game. It’s been Jacoby Brissett for the past two weeks, but this week it feels like the Giants might be the biggest beneficiaries of garbage time. Dart will throw for 225 yards and 1-2 TDs and run for another 40 yards and a TD. If it’s Winston, lose the rushing TD but add a 300-yard passing game with at least 2 TDs.
Honorable Mention: Sam Darnold, Jacoby Brissett
Derrick Henry, Ravens–Get ready for four beautiful weeks of Derrick Henry. He gets the Jets in Week 12, Cincinnati in Weeks 13 and 15, and Pittsburgh in Week 14. Henry has 807 yards rushing as of this week. It would not shock me to see him be very close to 1000 by the end of the weekend. Lock Henry in for 1 TD and possibly 2.
Chase Brown, Bengals–Regardless of whether it’s Joe Burrow or Joe Flacco, it will be Chase Brown’s backfield once again in Week 12. Even against a tough New England defense, he should get about 20 touches, which should be good for 14-16 fantasy points.
David Montgomery, Lions–I know that Gibbs is the more explosive running back, but there is something that feels so right about starting Montgomery at home in a game that Detroit is likely to win by double-digits. Moreover, Dan Campbell stated that he needs to get the ball to Montgomery more. He will on Sunday as Montgomery goes for 80 yards and a TD.
Alvin Kamara, Saints–Kirk Cousins looks like a shell of his former self, and Drake London will miss this week. Atlanta’s defense was playing well earlier this season, but it seems to have slowed down in recent weeks. What does that mean for New Orleans? It means that Tyler Shough and Alvin Kamara have a real opportunity to win this game. Atlanta’s giving up the 7th most rushing yards in the league, and in Shough’s first start, he had 3 catches out of the backfield. Look for Kamara to be the Kamara of old and get 90 yards from scrimmage and a TD.
Honorable Mention: Emanuel Wilson, Quinshon Judkins
Rashee Rice, Chiefs–Sauce Gardner is a great cornerback, but it’s not likely that he shadows Rice, who plays mostly from the slot. In this must-win situation, Mahomes is going to need to find his best receiver repeatedly. When Rice plays well, Kansas City usually wins, and I think that happens as the Chiefs keep their playoff hopes alive as Rice goes 8 for 90 and a TD.
Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions–When your best receiver gets shut down, what do you do? Pepper him with targets early and often to get him back on track. That is exactly what Dan Campbell is going to do for St. Brown against the Giants. He could easily have one of those monster games where he gets double-digit receptions and is the “had to have” player of the week. St. Brown has the best chance of getting 30+ fantasy points in PPR formats and definitely finds the end zone.
Devonta Smith, Eagles–Dallas started the season playing a lot of man coverage, but over the past few weeks, they have become way more of a zone coverage defense. Philadelphia’s secret weapon against zone coverage has always been Devonta Smith, and it feels like a week that fantasy managers will be overlooking him, but true visionaries will not. Put Smith down for 80 yards and a TD.
Chris Olave, Saints–In his first game with Tyler Shough as QB, Olave had 8 targets and went over 100 yards with a TD. Look for the two of them to build on that rapport some more against a Falcons secondary that has been very generous to slot receivers. Lock Olave in for 75 yards and a TD.
Honorable Mention: Romeo Doubs, Wan’Dale Robinson
Trey McBride, Cardinals–Mrs. Roto hates the expression “low-hanging fruit,” but admittedly, that is what this pick is. McBride has been the best tight end in football in 2025, and he will continue his amazing ways against a Jaguars defense that has let up the 6th most passing yards and the 2nd most TD to opposing tight ends. McBride gets 85 receiving yards and another trip to the end zone.
Tyler Warren, Colts–The Chiefs have been very difficult to run on this season, and I think that they’re going to do whatever they can to stop Jonathan Taylor from beating them. They also play pretty good coverage on outside receivers, which does not bode well for Michael Pittman. But there won’t be much they can do with Tyler Warren, who has just been sensational in all facets of the game as a rookie. Look for him to have seven catches for 70 yards and a touchdown.
Hunter Henry, Patriots–The Bengals have let up the most yardage and the most touchdowns to opposing tight ends this season. This makes for a slam dunk play with Henry. Look for him to get 60 yards and a touchdown as Cincinnati’s defensive woes against tight ends continue.
Mason Taylor, Jets–I have been waiting to see what Mason Taylor can do with a real quarterback throwing him the football. He’ll finally have that with Tyrod Taylor against the Ravens. With the Jets in desperate need of a true number one receiver to step up with Garrett Wilson out, it might just be Taylor who fits that bill. Look for him to get 50 yards receiving and a touchdown.
Honorable Mention: Darnell Washington, George Kittle
