This slate is a little bittersweet to me. On the one hand, it’s Rivalry Week, and we have some truly great games and great players on tap. On the other hand, it’s the last Saturday of the regular season. This is the last large slate that we will see all season. After this it’s the medium-sized Conference Championship slate and then small and medium-sized Bowl Season slates. This is the last time we will have this many options at our disposal to build a lineup. It’s been a fun ride this season. Let’s go out with a bang.
We already know that Greene possesses the upside to break a slate. His dual-threat abilities allowed him to post 44.4 DraftKings points earlier this season against Baylor. And this week he draws a truly great matchup against Texas Tech. Not only do the Red Raiders rank 131st in the nation in passing yards allowed per game, but they have surrendered 35 or more points to the opposing offense in 4 of their last 5 games. The upside and the matchup have Greene ranked as the #2 value play on the slate at the Quarterback position according to DFS Hero.
With all of the attention on teammate Devin Neal after his 59 DraftKings Point performance last week, I think this is a great week to pivot to Daniels. The last two games have not been good, but the yardage has been right in line with his average, he has just only accounted for 1 total TD in his last two games. I’m willing to buy the TD regression given that his matchup this week is the same Baylor team that allowed Garrett Greene to go off for 44 DraftKings points against them. Kansas is also playing for bowl eligibility this week, so they are going to leave it all on the field.
DFS Hero’s Number One Value play: Brady Cook, Missouri, $4900

Part of the reason why I love the cheaper QBs this week is because I want to anchor my slate with the price king at the RB position: Arizona State’s Cam Skattebo. His workload is insane, with 27 touches in each game since returning from injury. The matchup is great, with Arizona ranking 96th in the nation in rushing yards allowed per game. You just have to feel like the Sun Devils are going to rack up points, and when they do, it’s usually through Skattebo, who is also the team’s 2nd-leading receiver on the season (by a substantial margin).
Notre Dame’s Jeremiyah Love is one of the most explosive backs in the country, with a chance to break off a long run every time he touches the ball. Last week, he only needed 7 carries to score 35.6 DraftKings points against Army. The USC defense that Love will be going against has been battered by nearly every run game in the Big 10, and I expect the Irish’s heavy-run attack to have a ton of success, whether it’s with Love or QB Riley Leonard.
DFS Hero’s Number One Value Play: Jamarion Wilcox, Kentucky, $3800

Another Arizona State Sun Devil? That’s right, the matchup against Arizona is a great one through the air as well, with the Wildcats ranking 86th in the FBS in passing yards allowed per game. The Sun Devils are implied to score 31 points, and Skattebo and Tyson have combined to score over 60% of the total yards produced by Arizona State this season, so I think both could have multiple TDs and 100+ yards in store. Playing both of these guys together would be like playing Saquon Barkley and AJ Brown together on the Eagles – when you have one dominant RB and one dominant WR, they can put up big numbers together when the offense produces. DFS Hero agrees, as Tyson is their #1 value play at the WR position on this slate.
This is one where we have an injury to monitor as Meeks’ teammate Trebor Pena is questionable to play in this game. With or without Pena, I think Meeks is a great play. This is a guy who is averaging about 10 targets per game in his last 8 games, with 5 of those games going over 20 DraftKings points. He is also playing in the game with the slate’s highest total at 67.5 going against Miami. Syracuse will also look to throw all game long as they rank 3rd in the nation in pass rate.

Hail Mary: Squirrel White, Tennessee, $3300
There are a LOT of playable and super cheap WRs this week – this one was a tough one to pick. Squirrel White came into the season as the projected WR1 for the Volunteers, and the passing offense has just not reached the heights of previous seasons in Knoxville. But White is currently on a 3-game streak of over 9 DraftKings points, which may not sound like much but it is 3x value for his salary, and Vanderbilt ranks 112th in the nation in passing yards allowed per game, with a distinct weakness against slot receivers.
