Every week, I will share my favorite waiver wire or free agent pickups in fantasy football. Here is what I have for week 10!
Bryce Young, Panthers
Looking much better after being benched earlier this season. Even when Dalton is healthy, there is no reason to go back to him. The Panthers need to see what they have in Young and whether or not he really is their QB of the future.
Joe Flacco, Colts
He had a really bad game on Sunday night, but that doesn’t mean that he shouldn’t be added. He has a great offensive line, a good WR, and a great RB, and the players prefer him over Anthony Richardson.
Aaron Rodgers, Jets
It was one of Rodgers’s better games this season. Both his big WRs made plays for him, and the Jets offense looked as good as it has all season long. He has a nice schedule over the next couple of weeks, taking on the Cardinals and Colts, who both rank in the bottom third of the league against the pass.
Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars
Several key teams have byes in the next couple of weeks, and Lawrence is a good option to fill in. He has great matchups over the next two weeks, facing the Vikings and Lions, who both rank poorly against the pass. Both those teams should score plenty of points against the Jags as well, so Lawrence should get a lot of garbage time.
Khalil Herbert, Bengals
It had been rumored that he was on the trade block, and the Bengals were the team who swooped in and made a deal with the Bears. Herbert goes from being not used at all in an inconsistent offense to one of the top offenses in the NFL. Moss could miss extended time, and Chase Brown shouldn’t be asked to carry the ball over 20 times again like he was in week 9, so Herbert could carve out a nice role.
Zamir White, Raiders
This is only for your deeper leagues. With a number of teams on bye the next couple of weeks, you might need an RB. White got red zone carries in week 9 and could be used as the goal line back going forward. Even in a bad offense, that gives him some value.
Quentin Johnston, Chargers
He hadn’t played since October 13th but was big for the Chargers in his return to action. He caught 4 passes for 118 yards and a TD and is proving to be a nice deep threat for Justin Herbert.
Ricky Pearsall, 49ers
With Aiyuk out for the rest of the season and Deebo Samuel being injury-prone, Pearsall has a chance to see a lot of volume in the passing game for the 49ers. I saw him drop in a number of leagues because the 49ers were on their bye week, so where he is available, scoop him up.
Ray-Ray McLoud, Falcons
I am not sure how serious the Drake London injury is, but if he misses any time, it could lead to more targets for Ray-Ray. It’s obvious in watching the Falcons games that Cousins likes him. He has big play ability, and he could be working as the WR2 while London is sidelined.
Jalen Coker, Panthers
He was a popular add last week, but Mingo was traded to Dallas, Johnson was traded to Baltimore, Theilen is still injured, and suddenly, Coker could be a high-volume play.
Taysom Hill, Saints
The Saints have no weapons on offense. All they have is Kamara now, and he could be traded before the day ends. Even if he isn’t, Taysom is the team’s second-biggest weapon offensively. He is going to put up points consistently as long as he is healthy.
Ja’Tavion Sanders, Panthers
He had a nice game in week 9 and could become a larger threat in the passing game in the second half of the season.
Theo Johnson, Giants
The same thing I wrote about Sanders can be said about Johnson. Solid week 9, could get a larger role.
