The Hardest Hits | IDP Waiver Wire: NFL Week 16

We’re back for another exciting week of NFL football as we get ready to dive into the waiver wire to find some gems. With many fantasy owners done because they’ve missed the playoffs, this could be your chance to add some defensive players that will help you win this season. That being said, let’s get to this week’s pick-ups of the week, so that you can slay your competition. Have a great day, everyone, and may the tackles be with you.

LB Quay Walker, Green Bay Packers

With the loss of Micah Parsons for the season, the Packers will need other players to step up in his absence. However, Quay Walker hasn’t had to rush the quarterback like he used to in the past before Parsons arrival. That means, if Walker can add some sacks to his normal tackles, you could be looking at someone who is only 26 percent owned in most leagues, helping you win your leagues this year.

LB Christian Rozeboom, Carolina Panthers

Christian Rozeboom came back after the Panthers had their bye week, and after missing the previous two weeks. Rozeboom has had a solid season, so he should get back to his form fast, especially with his upcoming schedule. The Panthers play the Buccaneers twice and the Seahawks in between those games, which should give him plenty of opportunities to provide some boom for your teams.

LB Curtis Robinson, San Francisco 49ers

Curtis Robinson is practically like the Creature from the Black Lagoon because at five percent owned, he’s an enigma. However, since getting a chance to play a few weeks ago, Robinson has filled in nicely with 13 tackles in his past two games. If you’re looking for a fill-in, then look no further than Robinson, who has a juicy schedule to finish the regular season with.

DL Jordan Davis, Philadelphia Eagles

Jordan Davis is practically an unknown player who has had a great year defensively for the Eagles. At eight percent owned, Davis has recorded 25 tackles plus one and a half sacks in the past four games. With this type of production from a defensive lineman, you should pick him up now and watch everyone complain when he shows up and shows out for your fantasy teams.

DB Andrew Wingard, Jacksonville Jaguars

Andrew Wingard is a player that most people know about but won’t pick up because, to them, he isn’t a household name. Regardless, his production has been solid all year, and he’s around three percent owned. Wingard had only had three games this year under 100 percent, which has allowed him to secretly have a solid year. With the rest of the Jaguars schedule being against run-happy teams, it’s safe to say Wingard should be in your starting lineup the rest of the season.
