For most fantasy teams, Week 14 is the final week of the regular season. Unfortunately, the NFL has several teams on bye, which could leave your fantasy team scrambling to secure a playoff spot. Here are a few streamers that could help your team if you are desperately looking for points.
RB Jordan Mason, Vikings
Several teams have dropped Mason, and maybe he’s still on waivers. There is a chance he will start in a good setup against a bad commander’s defense. If RB Aaron Jones is out, I think he scores.
RB Chris Rodriguez, Commanders
Rodriguez will probably be picked up this week, but if not, he will get the ball for the Commanders. He can score a touchdown, especially if he gets a ton of volume.
WR Tom Kennedy, Lions
WR Amon-Ra St. Brown should still be missing in action this week. I expect the Lions to be in a shootout situation versus the Cowboys. Expect the Lions to pass a ton and for Kennedy to be involved.
WR Josh Downs, Colts
Downs would be a big desperation play because he hasn’t done much recently, but he did get six targets last week. The Colts have been losing of late, and maybe it’s because Downs hasn’t gotten the football. If they want to get on the winning track, let’s get him involved and get him in the end zone.
TE Mason Taylor, Jets
I’m in one league where I have both George Kittle and Hunter Henry, so I’m desperate for tight end. Mason Taylor is in a great spot against the Dolphins, and with Tyrod Taylor, he is viable.
K Will Reichard, Vikings
Reichard consistently makes my weekly article, and I think he’s going to get at least two field goals against a bad Commanders’ defense.
D/ST Minnesota Vikings
I can’t fault the Vikings’ defense for the team’s poor performances over the past several weeks. They stopped the passing games of both the Packers and the Seahawks over the past two weeks, but we’re on the field consistently. I expect the Vikings to win and play with the lead. They should have a sack or two and create a turnover. They also have an outstanding kick/punt returner who has had kick returns wiped off the board due to penalties.
