Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 7

*Ownerships are from Yahoo

QB

(32%) Jaxson Dart, New York Giants- Dart has been awesome so far through his first 3 games for the Giants and had his best game yet this past time out. He threw for 195 yards and a touchdown and ran for 58 yards and a touchdown on 13 rushing attempts. He is an exciting young quarterback who seems to have both a decent floor and a fairly high ceiling despite the absence of Malik Nabers.

(8%) Joe Flacco, Cincinnati Bengals- Flacco was faced with a difficult assignment in his first game wearing a Bengals uniform and did quite well considering how little time he must have had to prepare. He threw for 219 yards, 2 touchdowns, and no interceptions against Green Bay. He has a pretty enticing schedule coming up for the next 3 games before his BYE and will be throwing now to both Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins- a substantial upgrade in receiving talent from his prior team.

WR

(35%) Kendrick Bourne, San Francisco 49ers- Bourne had another big week, catching 5 of his 9 targets for 142 yards. He is worth rolling out while many of the other options in San Francisco remain injured.

(9%) Kayshon Boutte, New England Patriots- Boutte has proven to have a high ceiling but low floor this season. He had his best game yet this past week, catching all 5 of his targets for 93 yards and a couple of touchdowns. He is worth grabbing in deeper leagues, especially for his week-to-week upside, though he could also be gaining value in general as Drake Maye continues to improve his game.

RB

(31%) Kimani Vidal, Los Angeles Chargers- Vidal ended up having a big week in place of the injured Omarion Hampton, turning 18 carries into 124 yards and 3 receptions into 14 yards and a touchdown. He is clearly back to his own right now for Los Angeles and should be scooped up wherever he is still available. Just remember that he will likely return to nothingness once Hampton is back.

(12%) Bam Knight, Arizona Cardinals- Knight seems to be splitting the Arizona backfield with Michael Carter. He has a rushing touchdown in back-to-back weeks now, and you can do worse in deeper leagues given the shallow landscape.

TE

(15%) AJ Barner, Seattle Seahawks- Barner had only 3 receptions this past week on 3 targets, but he turned those 3 catches into a whopping 71 yards. He is still available in 85% of leagues and is a fine play at the tight end position, given his upside for decent yardage gains and touchdowns each week.

(14%) Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns- Fannin will get a ton of looks if David Njoku misses any time. He is worth grabbing for this reason, and even if Njoku plays, Fannin should still get a decent amount of action.

K

(23%) Eddy Pineiro, San Francisco 49ers- Pineiro is now 15-for-15 on field goal attempts, with two more from over 50 yards this past week. He is looking like an elite option that is still available in over 75% of Yahoo leagues.

(2%) Nick Folk, New York Jets- Folk is now 12-for-12 on field goals, four of which were for over 50 yards. He is a good kicker who is available in nearly all leagues out there.

(1%) Blake Grupe, New Orleans Saints- That’s 3 games in a row with a kick made from over 50 yards. He is 14 for 19 this season on field goals, which, on the one hand, is not very good but, on the other, might mean that he could improve his already good points output as the season goes on.

DST

(49%) Seattle Seahawks- One of the best defenses in the league. They deserve consideration despite having a BYE week coming up if you have the bench space to stash them.

(7%) Chicago Bears- The Bears defense has been quite good this year, with 8 interceptions and 4 fumble recoveries already. They are now past their BYE and have a good schedule for the next handful of games.
