Mike Johnson (MJohnson86) has racked up over $500,000 in DFS profit as an NFL tournament player with success in all styles of contests
Quarterback ::
Drake Maye – The matchup against the Bengals is terrific and Maye’s consistent production is bound to lead to a blowup spot one of these days. No reason it can’t be today.
Lamar Jackson – Baltimore is likely to put up a big number on the scoreboard this week and we know Lamar can do the heavy lifting in those spots.
Jared Goff – Detroit is going to score a ton of points in this game, and I’m getting the same vibes as last year when the Lions faced the Jaguars and kept throwing all game while preserving their running backs.
Running Back::
Jahmyr Gibbs – Elite talent on an explosive offense facing arguably the worst run defense in the league.
TreVeyon Henderson // Rhamondre Stevenson – The genie is out of the bottle. Rhamondre is back, but this is the best possible matchup for a running back and TreVeyon is that dude in the New England backfield. The spot isn’t all that different for the Patriots RBs than it is for the Lions, yet the Patriots RBs are priced at $7,500 and $5,700 compared to $9,300 and $6,700 for Detroit’s guys.
Bhayshul Tuten // Travis Etienne – The Cardinals have given up over 40 points in consecutive games while the Jaguars lean heavily on their running game since their Week 8 bye and have scored 29+ points in all three games during that time.
Jaylen Warren – Warren has another incredible matchup this week and practiced fully on Friday after his ankle issue had him watching the second half with his helmet on in Week 11.
Derrick Henry – Fanduel’s salary structure and scoring settings make Henry more appealing here than on DraftKings. Regardless of settings, however, Henry has a clear path to one of his smash games this week against a skeleton crew defense.
Jonathan Taylor – We can actually afford him on Fanduel and his team is likely to lean on him in a big way in this spot, as he is fresh off his bye and this is a huge game with AFC playoff implications.
