Notes:

  • If you’re handy with Excel, this tool will flow like water for you.
  • If you’re not handy with Excel, you may have to melt some ice before this tool flows like water; but the step-by-step instructions are incredibly clear, and are accompanied by videos that will answer any questions you have. Once you have this tool up and running, it is unbelievably fluid, adaptable, and powerful.

Here are some of the things you can do with this tool:

An important note from Alex:

As I was building up this tool, I learned about the tracker from Michael Dubner at RotoViz. I could have simply used his tool for my roster tracking, but I’m stubborn and wanted the challenge of building something for myself. It goes without saying that many of the tools and capabilities of my tracker were inspired by the capabilities and design of Dubner’s. His tracker does some things that mine does not, and vice versa. I’m a big fan of the added information my Rosters worksheet provides, as well as the inclusions of a Contest Selection worksheet, built-in support for less common platforms, Injury Tracker tool, Playoff Matchup Exposures, & QB Stack Type Exposures. That said, using either of these trackers will be beneficial, and Dubner (Dubner’s Twitter || Dubner’s fire tool) is an excellent analyst to follow and improve your fantasy play.
