One Week Season

The Hardest Hits | IDP Waiver Wire: NFL Week 9

We’re back for another exciting week of NFL football as we get ready to dive into the waiver wire to find some gems. With the NFL season approaching the halfway point, many seasonal teams are starting to check out. That means you’ll have less competition to compete with and maybe even a dropped player that you could use on defense. That being said, let’s get to this week’s pick-ups of the week, so that you can slay your competition. Have a great day, everyone, and may the tackles be with you.

LB Blake Cashman, Minnesota Vikings

Over the years, Blake Cashman has been one of the most consistent linebackers in the NFL. Since returning from his injury last week, Cashman has played 100 percent of snaps, which allowed him to get back to form this week with 11 total tackles. At 16 percent owned, Cashman should be rostered before it’s too late.

LB Tremaine Edmunds, Chicago Bears

Tremaine Edmunds isn’t an unpopular linebacker, and that’s why he’s over 40 percent owned. Regardless of a few sub-par games, Edmunds has boomed for almost 20 points in one game and over 20 in another one. If Edmunds is still available in your league, you’ll want to go pick him up immediately.

LB Drake Thomas, Seattle Seahawks

Let me introduce you to Drake Thomas, who most people don’t even know exists. At two percent owned, Thomas has quietly been having a good season. What is crazy is that every time Thomas gets more than 66 percent of the snap share, he records double-digit points. Imagine if he could get a 100 percent snap count, Thomas would be an IDP superstar, so get him now before it’s too late.

DB Coby Bryant, Seattle Seahawks

Coby Bryant is the second Seahawks player in this article because Seattle’s defense has been great this year. Bryant has been a big part of that with his consistent play. At 11 percent owned, Bryant is more known than Thomas, but if you’re looking for a defensive back to pick up for a bye week or injury, look no further than him.

DL Khalil Mack, Los Angeles Chargers

Who would think that Khalil Mack is only nine percent owned in most leagues and has delivered three double-digit performances in only four games this year? What is even crazier is that Mack has only two games with over 50 percent of the snap share, and in one of those games, he scored under two points. That means you’d better pick him up now before someone else does.
