IDP Heats (Plays): NFL Week 2

After a corny Week 1, where most players seemed to be limited or just score 12 points, which stunk up a lot of fantasy football matches. However, there were some great games from some of the IDP players that helped me win a few of my matchups. The players listed below are projected to dominate this week so that we can continue our winning ways. You’ll also want to check out my Hard Hits and Cool Picks article, which covered some waiver wire pickups that could still be available in your leagues. So head over and check that out along with our other articles, so that you can bring the pain to your competition this week. Have a great day, everyone, and may the points be with you.

Heat Check of the Week

Julian Love, Seattle Seahawks

Julian Love has consistently been one of the best safeties over the past couple of years. This week, the Seahawks take on the Pittsburgh Steelers, who passed on 51.7 percent of their passes last week against the Jets. After recording 10 total tackles against the Niners, you can bet Love is ready to mirror that performance, giving you a must-start for Week 2.

Pick up of the week

Brian Burns, New York Giants

Like I said on the Ultra Contrarian Show, the Giants’ defense was going to sack Jayden Daniels, and they did. Brian Burns recorded two of those sacks and is currently just above 35 percent, which means you can still get him off the waiver wire. This week, the Giants play the Cowboys, which gives him a chance to sack Dak Prescott, which will happen. Pick up Burns while you can, before it’s too late.
