Heat Check of the Week
LB Jamien Sherwood, New York Jets
Jamien Sherwood has played 100 percent of snaps for the Jets all season but one game. That means, no matter how poorly the Jets have performed, Sherwood has been getting it done, and in his last game against the Saints, he recorded 11 tackles and one sack. This week, he’ll be chasing the Patriots players all over the field, giving him another chance at another double-digit performance.
Pick Up of the Week
DL Tuli Tuipulotu, Los Angeles Chargers
Tuli Tuipulotu and the Chargers defense have been on fire recently. A little of that can be credited to Tuipulotu, who has five sacks and a forced fumble in the past four games. If you’re looking for a player who can boom for your team at any time, then look no further. Tuipulotu will show your teams how to win a championship, and that starts this week.
