One Week Season

Fantasy Football Week 5 Streamers

We are on to week 5, and not only are we dealing with injuries, but now we’re starting to deal with the bye weeks. Here is a list of some players who might clear waivers who could help you out this week.

RB Zavier Scott, Vikings

As a Viking fan, I didn’t put much stock into Scott when he started getting playing time two weeks ago. Now, it’s apparent he’s going to be out there on third downs, and they’re not afraid to throw the football to him. He got a touchdown last week, and he’s more involved. He’s worth playing if you’re desperate for a running back.

WR Luke McCaffrey, Commanders

I hope you all picked up McCaffrey last week, because this week might be too late. He is going to be a target, especially if WR Terry McLaurin is out. He did score a touchdown and was open on some bigger plays. He also had a couple of catches called back due to a penalty.

TE Mason Taylor, Jets

Taylor is coming off a solid 5-catch, 65-yard performance against the Dolphins. Their game plan should have been to use him much more, as the middle of the field was open. They have a soft matchup against the Cowboys, and he could score a touchdown this week.

WR Isaiah Bond, Browns

I would be shocked if Bond cleared waivers, as WR Cedric Tillman is on IR. Bond had a few catches last week and shows some juice.

TE Theo Johnson, Giants

Now that WR Malik Nabers is out for the season, I expect an uptick in Johnson’s production. He has a good matchup this week vs the Saints. I could see another touchdown.

D New York Giants

The Giants have had a tough schedule thus far, but it has eased up now, and I think their front can get a few sacks this week and maybe a few turnovers against a bad Saints offense.

D Arizona Cardinals

They are playing the Tennessee Titans; all defenses should be considered playing them.

K Chase McLaughlin, Buccaneers

McLaughlin made 65- and 58-yarders a week ago. If I need a kicker, he is who I want. I think Tampa can move the ball between the 20s against Seattle and will settle for field goals.
