QB

(28%) Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams- Stafford has looked good through his 1st 2 games, and while neither performance was anything special he seems to have a pretty decent floor as a QB. Also, perhaps most importantly, his back injury doesn’t seem to be affecting him to the point where he can’t perform.

(19%) Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts- That’s another superb performance for Jones who now has 2 passing touchdowns, 3 rushing touchdowns and no interceptions. This looks very real to me and he deserves everyone’s attention. Jones is my favorite pickup at this position this week.

(19%) Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers- Young’s touchdown to interception ratio of 4/3 leaves a lot to be desired, but he did bounce back in week 2 by throwing for over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. He still has a lot of upside as a former #1 overall pick.

WR

(23%) Wan’Dale Robinson, New York Giants- Robinson erupted in week 2, catching 8 of

(8%) Elic Ayomanor, Tennessee Titans- Ayomanor is up to a very encouraging 13 targets now through his 1st 2 games and caught his 1st touchdown this week. This is a very good wide receiver whose great play this preseason has continued into regular season play. His arrow is pointed straight up.

(4%) Troy Franklin, Denver Broncos- There was a lot of buzz around Franklin in the preseason but he had a pretty lackluster rookie year last year and 1st week this year. Well, he broke out in a big way this week, catching 8 of 9 targets and going for 89 yards and a touchdown. He also took one carry for 11 yards. It is now clear that Franklin is likely one of Nix’s favorite targets in this offense, and the two have chemistry dating back to their college days at Oregon.

RB

(67%) Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots- While everyone (myself included) was drafting TreVeyon Henderson in the top 5 rounds by the end of the preseason with the anticipation that he would emerge as the top back right away, that seems to have been unwise. Stevenson is clearly still the lead back for the Pats and he actually looked awesome this game, rushing 11 times for 54 yards and also catching all 5 of his targets for 88 yards. Both he and Maye were the MVPs against Miami in my book, and he certainly looks like he will continue to lead this backfield for the foreseeable future.

(62%) Quinshon Judkins, Cleveland Browns- Judkins needs to be scooped up immediately in any leagues where he is unowned. He is the clear lead back for the Browns and has a good amount of upside despite playing for a bad team.

(59%) Cam Skattebo, New York Giants- Skattebo was one of the buzzier names this preseason and saw an increased role this week, rushing 11 times for 45 yards and a TD and catching 2 of his 3 targets. He is a good add and at least stash because he is playing like someone who could eventually take over as the #1 running back in this offense.

TE

(57%) Zach Ertz, Washington Commanders- There’s really no reason for Ertz not to be owned in all leagues. He has a touchdown in both of his games and will continue to be one of Jayden Daniels’ favorite targets in the endzone.

(45%) Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints- Johnson has incredibly had the most targets of any tight end in the NFL (20) and had his first TD in week 2. He is a must add for any owners in need of help at this position as the sheer volume he is receiving gives him a great floor.

K

(4%) Spencer Shrader, Indianapolis Colts- The Colts have been an extremely active offense with Jones at QB and Shrader has been perfect thus far. He’s made 9/9 field goal kicks- 2 of which were over 40 yards- and 5/5 extra point kicks.

(1%) Joey Slye, Tennessee Titans- Slye has a big boot and has impressively already made 3 kicks over 50 yards. He isn’t always accurate but his potential for big points with these long field goals makes him worth consideration, especially considering the Titans will likely continue to rely on him for points often.

DST

(25%) Seattle Seahawks- Seattle has looked very good over their 1st 2 games. They’ve racked up 4 sacks, 4 interceptions, 1 returned touchdown and 1 blocked kick and look like they have the potential to be a top 5 defense this year.

(2%) Atlanta Falcons- The Falcons defense had a big game 2 against Minnesota. They had 6 sacks, 2 interceptions and 2 fumble recoveries in this game while holding JJ McCarthy & co. to just 6 points. They have flashed a high ceiling here but it’s unclear if this was just a flash in the pan or not.
