2025 Fantasy Football: Value RBs

Here’s a look at some of the best value picks for your 2025 NFL fantasy drafts.

Top 10 at RB

Breece Hall  & Omarion Hampton

Hall (13) and Hampton (15) are both listed in the top 15 in positional ADP at NFFC. Both will finish the 2025 fantasy season among the top 10 at running back. Each back is in offenses that will tilt heavily towards the run game.

Having a running threat like Justin Fields at QB will boost Hall’s efficiency as well as being a few years removed from his rookie season injury. Hampton is a beast and will be fed like it. Even when healthy, Najee Harris isn’t coming close to getting similar touches in the Chargers’ backfield.

Top 20 at RB

Kaleb Johnson & Tyrone Tracy Jr.

NFFC has Johnson 23rd and Tracy Jr. 30th in ADP. Johnson will just miss finishing in the top 15 of fantasy RBs this year, as I have him at 17th with Tracy Jr. 20th. Jaylen Warren will be more of a 3rd down back than having a 50/50 split with the talented rookie in Pittsburgh.

Tracy Jr. had six starts with Daniel Jones last year. In those games he ran for over 500 yards while averaging 5.4 ypc. Tracy Jr. had two yards less per carry with Drew Lock at QB. He’ll get 60% of the workload over Cam Skattebo and Devin Singletary.

Seahawks Backfield

Flip the order of the way the Seahawks RBs are selected. Kenneth Walker III is listed 16th in RB ADP at NFFC with Zach Charbonnet 35th. I have Charbonnet 27th with Walker III 31st. Walker III was a stud coming out of college but struggles to stay healthy and has seen his ypc drop by around a half yard each year since entering the NFL.

Charbonnet had 8 rush TDs on 135 carries last year while averaging half a yard more per carry than Walker III. He’s also played in 33 of 34 games since entering the league and has the exact amount of receptions (75) as Walker has over the last two seasons.

Top 40 at RB

Trey Benson (45), Jaydon Blue (50) and Roschon Johnson (58) should each, at a minimum, be ranked 13 spots higher at their position. I have Benson (32), Blue (33) and Johnson (39).

James Conner is a 30-year-old RB, who misses time yearly and mostly sees around 200 carries per year. Benson will vastly eat into his role this season. Blue will outproduce veterans Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders this year for the Cowboys. Johnson recorded 6 rushing TDs on 55 carries last year. He’ll continue to get goalline carries on a much-improved offense and could hit double-digit TDs.

Slept on Sleepers

Devin Neal (63), Woody Marks (99), Kyle Monangai (106), Khalil Herbert (111) and Isaiah Davis (T-112) are so low in NFFC’s ADP right now they’re basically free spots on the back of your roster.

Neal is currently dealing with a hamstring injury but as long as it doesn’t linger too long, he’ll become Alvin Kamara’s top backup for the Saints.

Marks caught over 140 passes his first two years of college and went 4 of 5 years with 45+ receptions. Joe Mixon is banged up, Nick Chubb is hurt yearly, Marks will at minimum be a PPR contributor but could be asked to do much more due to injury concerns surrounding the vets.

Monangai has D’Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson ahead of him on the roster but he complements both of their styles perfectly. The Bears backfield won’t be a 1, 2, 3 on the depth chart, rather three guys with varying skillsets that can contribute in different ways. Monangai will have a role throughout the year.

Davis is viewed as an afterthought due to being behind Hall and Braelon Allen but he’ll surpass Allen this year and become the Jets second-best RB. If Hall misses time, Davis will thrive as a starter.

Jonathan Taylor misses time yearly. The veteran Herbert had a down year last year, and the Colts drafted DJ Giddens but it’ll be Herbert that outshines Giddens and be tasked with starts if Taylor misses again.
